Tony Frank spoke to the Stryker Rotary Club at its regular meeting January 31. Tony is a 1981 Stryker graduate , and has traveled extensively around the world. After graduating as a mechanic from aviation school in Oklahoma, Tony worked at the Williams County Airport. Tony felt the call and desire for more in his life. He went on and graduated from a 4 year Bible college and seminary. In 1995, the Russian government invited a group of people to teach “Christian Morals and Ethics” to teachers in Russia. Tony was involved with this teaching work for 5 1/2 years. During those years in Russia, Tony also taught Bible studies. Russia was a country where for 70 years it was illegal for its citizens to own a Bible. For 7 years, Tony was also involved with “Leadership Training for Pastors” in the country of Mozambique. In 2003, while working in Portugal, Tony met and married his wife, Leila. She is a citizen of Brazil. They are presently living in southern Brazil near Leilas’ parents. Tony continues his teaching and assists with starting new churches in Brazil. Tony is the son of Don & Judy Frank. They plan to return to Brazil mid February. Tony spoke as a guest of Stryker Rotarian Judy Keller. Pictured from left to right are Judy Keller, Leila and Tony Frank.
