Pettisville Holds Off Montpelier Behind Delaney Nofziger’s Three-Hit Pitching

WAUSEON – Delaney Nofziger threw a three-hitter and minimized the damage of six Ladybird errors to lead Pettisville to a 3-2 win over Montpelier on April 5.

Nofziger allowed 2 runs on 3 hits and a walk, striking out 6.

Amber Klopfenstein roped a double, and Kaija Blosser and Taylor D’Alelio each singled for the 1-2 Ladybirds.

Wendy Duchene went the route for the Lady Locos, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and 2 walks, striking out a batter.

Sydney Houk, Lauren Dye and Christina Prather each singled for Montpelier.
