REACHING ON AN ERROR … Quinn Ripke puts the ball in play and would reach base via an error by the Hicksville third baseman in the fourth inning.

SHERWOOD – Hicksville rallied from down 3-0 with two runs in the sixth inning and Austin Sanders won it for Hicksville with a two-run single in the seventh for a 4-3 walk-off win.


Creighton Aeschliman fronted the Birds with a 2-4 night at the plate while R. Warner took the loss on the mound.

The loss drops Pettisville to the losers’ bracket where they’ll face either Hilltop or Fairview in an elimination game on Saturday at 11am.
