Andrew Ratliff Apprehended In Armed Robbery In West Unity

Around 11:40 p.m. on December 29, the West Unity Police Department received an armed robbery complaint which had just occurred at the Valero gas station (West Unity Main Stop) located at 204 E. Jackson Street, West Unity.
The suspect fled the gas station and later continued south of the village. An extensive search and track was performed by West Unity Police Department and the Williams County Sheriff Department assisted by officers for surrounding areas.
The suspect was located and detained at a residence located on County Road I.50 south of West Unity in Williams County. The suspect was identified as Andrew Jordan Ratliff, a 19 year old male subject. Ratliff was charged with aggravated robbery and lodged at CCNO.
The following agencies assisted with the investigation Stryker Police Department, Fulton County Sheriff Department, Defiance K-9 Unit, Edgerton Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and Brady Township Fire Department.
