Archbold Blue Streaks Scalped By The Wauseon Indians In April 29th Nets

WAUSEON: April 29 – The Wauseon Indians traveled to the home of their NWOAL rivals from the west, the Archbold Blue Streaks, on April 29. The Streaks found themselves at the business end of a conference hatchet job as the Tribe posted a 4-1 win.

A JV matchup was also staged in singles play. That match saw Chris Yackee of Wauseon taking out Michael Short of Archbold.

Varsity Singles

 

Tyler Shipley took out Jannik Fritz (Archbold) 6-3 and 6-4

Alex Wenger defeated Jereme Rupp (Archbold) 4-6, 6-3 and 6-3

Levi Rees dispatched Lucas Rupp (Archbold) 6-2 and 6-1


 

Varsity Doubles

 

Zach Spadafore / Fernando Canales bumped off Jesse Felix / Levi Strawn (Archbold) 6-0, 6-7 (5-7) and 6-0

Derek Zimmerman / Colin Tedrow fell to Alex Short / Riley Krueger (Archbold) 2-6 and 3-6
