Archbold Village Council Gives Administrator Allowance For Car; Oks Insurance Coverage

Archbold’s new village administrator will receive an allowance for the use of her vehicle for official business.
The village council approved an addendum to Donna Dettling’s contract at its July 25 meeting. The allowance is $250 a month. Dettling makes $74,000 a year according to terms of the contract.
In other news:
The council gave its approval to Lot 1 for the Cedar Crest Subdivision and approval of the preliminary plat for the subdivision as a whole. The development is located on Lawrence Lane.
The council received a copy of a letter from Matt Gilroy, executive director of the Fulton County Economic Development Corp., to the director of ODOT urging him to approve the truck route bypass for SR 66.
Accepted the proposal from Burnham and Flower who is the agent for the Public Entity Pool of Ohio for property and liability insurance. The premium is $68,741 and is $1,881 less than of the Ohio Plan.
