Audrey Arlene Sevrence, 82, of N. Fayette St., Fayette, died Monday afternoon, January 14, 2013, at Heartland of Wauseon. She was born on November 5, 1930, in Montpelier, OH, to the late Ora and Mildred (Govin) Zolman. Audrey married Carl Jay Sevrence on October 24, 1947, and he preceded her in death on March 27, 1984.
Audrey lived her early life in the Alvordton-Kunkle area, and attended school in Kunkle. She retired in 1994 from Fayette Tubular Products, following over 30 years of employment.
Audrey enjoyed fishing trips in Coldwater, MI, as well as the hobbies of knitting and bowling. In her later life, she often spent time camping at Lazy River Campground with her special friend Ralph Powers.
Surviving Audrey are her three daughters, Marsha (Jerry) Leupp of Archbold, OH, Lois Sevrence of Fayette, and Amy (Mike) Cuff of Fayette; five grandchildren, Nichole Leupp, Christopher Leupp, Melissa (Troy) Bentley, Christina Cuff, and Michael Cuff; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Carl, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Mae Borton.
A private memorial graveside service for Audrey Sevrence will be held at Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette. There will be no public arrangements.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-Barrett Chapel in Fayette.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorial donations to the Fayette Fire Department.
