Nyla D. Stinehart, age 81, of Swanton, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, September 3, 2016 at the Orchards of Northcrest in Napoleon.  She was born in Toledo on November 22, 1934 to the late Glen Andrews and Donna (Davis) Andrews.  Nyla was a 1952 graduate of Woodward High School.  On June 20, 1953 she married Henry O. Stinehart Jr. after his return from service in WWII and he preceded her in death on August 18, 2014. Sentel, 67 of Montpelier passed away Wednesday at his home.  He was born on September 26, 1948 in Defiance to Troy Melvin and Irene Pearl (Scott) Sentel.  He was a member of the Montpelier Eagles and Moose.  Todd loved to race stock cars in the local area. There is a pride of lions that roam the Swanton area, often going unnoticed. They number about thirty and have been present in the community for seven years without causing any harm or undue concern. They are, of course, the women and men of the Swanton Chapter of Lions International, the largest community service organization in the world. Sarah Rupp, a fifth-year teacher at Hilltop Elementary School, is asking the community to support her pantry for students who might otherwise go hungry. Jared Michael Liechty, age 35, of Archbold, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Toledo Hospital. He was employed at Jacoby Meats in West Unity as a meat cutter. Jared was born in Wauseon, on March 17, 1981, the son of Doug and Judy (Howard) Liechty, and they survive. He was a member of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Archbold.
