AYERSVILLE:  May 16-The Stryker Panthers concluded the season at Ayersville in Sectional action, falling to the host Pilots 2-0 in the tight defensive struggle.

Parker Ruffer went the distance for the Panthers, allowing 5 hits and 1 earned run in the loss, while fanning 3 Pilot batters on the afternoon.

Offensively for the Panthers, it was a tough afternoon against a highly ranked Pilot squad who played some very tough defense in the field.  Dean Beamont and Ruffer tagged the only hits on the afternoon for Stryker,

The Stryker Panthers conclude the 2014 season with a 7-3 BBC mark and finish up at 14-7 on the year.
