EDGERTON: May 16-The Pettisville Lady Blackbirds season came to a halt on May 16 at Edgerton, falling to the host Lady Bulldogs 16-3, in a 5 inning game.
Teagan Kauffman took the loss against a tough Lady Bulldog squad, allowing 13 hits and 16 runs on the afternoon. Kauffman also struck out 3 while allowing 6 walks on the game.
At the plate for the Lady Blackbirds, Audra Klopfenstein led the way, pounding out a double and a single while Emily Hubby connected for a double. Kauffman connected for 2 singles in the game while Amber Klopfenstein, Stephanie Hubby and Johanna Roth each single for base hits on the afternoon.
