EDON – Edon stayed alive in the Buckeye Border Conference title race as the Bombers turned back Pettisville, 51-35.
Adison Briner led the Bombers (11-4, 3-1 BBC) with 16 points, Nevaeh Smith tallied 13, and Kaylynn Bartlett added 12 points, all coming from the three-point line.
Edon was 19 of 46 for 41 percent from the field, 7 of 9 for 78 percent from the line along with 34 rebounds and 16 turnovers.
Becca Strauss tallied 15 points to lead Pettisville (6-9, 2-2 BBC). Madison Miller contributed nine points, and Addison Davis added eight points.
The Blackbirds were 11 of 41 for 26 percent from the floor, 10 of 21 for 48 percent from the stripe along with 25 rebounds and 14 turnovers.
