BLAKESLEE VILLAGE COUNCIL: Council Discusses Village Christmas Plans

Members of the Blakeslee Village Council held their meeting on Wednesday, December 4th. The meeting began at 6:00 p.m. with council first moving to approve minutes from the prior meeting.

The Christmas meeting details were then discussed, with it being stated the decorations will be put up that coming Sunday. Flyers will also be distributed to the local businesses.

Cookies are being donated and popcorn will be made.

Police Chief Randy Mohre will be patrolling and finding policemen for the parade patrol. Council members were asked to meet at approximately 2:00 p.m. on parade day to finalize preparations.

Fiscal Officer Courtny Osborn then stated that restructuring for 2025 will begin during the January meeting. Council then moved to review and sign the monthly financial reports as presented.


The next regular meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. With no other business to attend to, the meeting was adjourned.
