Defiance County’s beautiful 84° Monday afternoon was the perfect setting for the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce’s (BACC) annual golf scramble.

Held at the wonderfully maintained and scenic Auglaize Country Club, golfers saw a shotgun start at 1 p.m. after a hearty lunch.

Participants then had a buffet style dinner after they were done, and raised funds go directly into the operating fund for the BACC.

COOL GAME It was highly entertaining for the golfers to line up and see who among their group can hit the marshmallow into an open cooler to be put in the drawing for a prize

The Bryan branch of Amazon was there, helping golfers beat the heat with refreshments and Chamber Director Yahraus ran a marshmallow tee-off game, wherein those that could hit a marshmallow into an open cooler would be entered into a drawing to win a prize.

While warm, the breeze along the course’s rolling hills helped to make for an enjoyable experience for all of those who helped sponsor the BACC’s work.
