BAND CONCERT … The Bud Widmer Rube Band of Defiance performed a concert celebrating America’s 250th birthday on Wednesday, July 29, at the Connin-Hartman Bandstand on the Williams County Courthouse Square in Bryan. The band, which was founded in 1934, played a mix of patriotic and traditional American music. In the above photo, members of the trombone section perform “Hail, Hail, The Gang’s All Here” as the opening song of the concert.
