Carolyn Jeanne Goldsmith, age 93, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Thursday morning, January 14, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Carolyn was born August 29, 1927 to Laurin Armstrong and Ruth Deolny (Larimore) Phillips.
She married Ernest Goldsmith on January 26, 1947 in Wauseon, Ohio. Together they raised four wonderful children.
Always a loving caregiver, Carolyn devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Cedar Creek Church and attended Bible Study.
Carolyn was greeted to her heavenly home by her parents, Laurin and Ruth; husband, Ernest and son, Steve Goldsmith.
Left to cherish her memory are Carolyn’s children, Patsy (Verlin) Rice, Ernie (Des) Goldsmith, Debra (Jack) Gallagher and David (Linda) Goldsmith; daughter-in-law, Diane Goldsmith; 15 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
Visitation and services for Carolyn will be private. Interment will follow at Swanton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Cedar Creek Church.
