Cheryl L. Null (1956 – 2016)

cheryl-l-nullCheryl L. Null, age 59, of Swanton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, November 10, 2016.  She was born in Minster, Ohio on December 20, 1956 to the late William R. Klier II and Joan (Quellhorst) Klier, who survives.

Cheryl was a graduate of Whitmer High School and later attended college at Owens.  For over 29 years Cheryl served as a fiscal clerk with the Lucas County Health Department.  Some of her fondest hobbies were cooking, baking, fishing and canoeing.  Cheryl was also a sports car enthusiast and racer in her earlier years.  Most of all she believed in spending quality time with her grandchildren and family.

In addition to her father, Cheryl was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Shannon Renee Null and brother, Randall W. Klier.

She is survived by her mother, Joan; son, Sean (Kara) Null of Swanton; daughter, Sarah Sweet of Liberty Center; brother, William R. Klier III of Toledo; sister, Lori (Roy) Wiegand of Perrysburg; grandchildren, Chloey Null, Harper Null, Kaden Sweet and Kendall Sweet; nieces and nephews; and extended family members she loved dearly.

Family and friends will be received from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta.  A memorial service celebrating Cheryl’s life will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 also at the funeral home.  Pastor Chad Roeper will be officiating.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice in her memory.  Online condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.barnesfuneralchapel.com
