The regular meeting of the trustees was called to order at 7:03 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2026.
Present were Clark Emmons, Bradly Nofziger, Tyler White and Herb Harris. White made a motion to approve the regular meeting minutes as read. Nofziger seconded the motion, which was approved.
Emmons made a motion to approve the bills presented at the meeting. White seconded the motion, which was approved.
The trustees reviewed the UAN payment listing report dated Aug. 4 through Aug. 17, 2026. The fiscal officer also reviewed the Payment Register, Receipt Register, Fund Status, Cash Journal, Cash Summary by Fund, bank statements and Bank Reconciliation Report.
Under Resolution 37-8-17-2026, Emmons made a motion to approve Then & Now PO No. 52-2026 in the amount of $577.98 for Truland Equipment. White seconded the motion. The motion carried, with Emmons, Nofziger and White voting yes.
Under Resolution 38-8-17-2026, Nofziger made a motion to approve Then & Now PO No. 53-2026 in the amount of $62.73 for Truland Equipment. Emmons seconded the motion. The motion carried, with Emmons, Nofziger and White voting yes.
Under Resolution 39-8-17-2026, White made a motion to approve Then & Now PO No. 54-2026 in the amount of $6,896.40 for the City of Morenci. Nofziger seconded the motion. The motion carried, with Emmons, Nofziger and White voting yes.
Under Resolution 40-8-17-2026, Emmons made a motion to enter into a contract with National Oil & Gas Inc. for 2,000 gallons of fuel, capped at $1.60 per gallon, for the period of Oct. 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027. White seconded the motion. The motion carried, with Emmons, Nofziger and White voting yes.
Harris reported that mowing had been completed and new tires had been installed on the truck. He also reported that he had worked in the shop and on the roads as needed.
For zoning, the trustees received and approved an application from Brandon Gregory for an accessory building.
The trustees also reviewed the July sheriff’s report before adjourning.
