Continental Man Indicted On 20 Child Pornography Counts By Defiance County Grand Jury

Defiance County Prosecuting Attorney, Morris J. Murray, has released the following information regarding recent Indictments returned by a Defiance County Grand Jury on April 29, 2026:

Among those Indicted was 38-year-old Tyler K. Vorst, of Continental (formerly of Liberty Center), for multiple charges related to the digital reproduction of child pornography.

-TYLER K. VORST, age 38, 28933 Defiance-Putnam Co. Line Rd., Continental, was indicted for Twenty Counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter Involving a Minor or Impaired Person, each a Felony of the Second Degree.

Authorities allege that on or about February 9, 2026, and April 6, 2026, at a location on E. Second St., in Defiance, Vorst recorded, reproduced, or published materials showing minors participating or engaging in sexual activity.

Other Indictments Included:

-MI’KEL T. WHITLEY, age 34, 206 East St., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs, a Felony of the Third Degree. Authorities allege that on April 15, 2026, at a residence on Jackson Ave., in Defiance, Whitley sold or offered to sell three grams of Methamphetamine, a Schedule II drug, to another.

-NATHAN L. GALLANT, age 34, 6234 Domersville Rd., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that on April 1, 2026, during a traffic stop on Hopkins St., in Defiance, Gallant was found in possession of Methamphetamine, a Schedule II drug.

-THOMAS L. GLENN, age 40, 651 W. High St., Hicksville, was indicted for One Count of Assault, a Felony of the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege that on April 13, 2026, at the Regional Medical Center in Defiance, while being seen in the emergency room, Glenn caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a responding Defiance City police officer.

-AUSTIN R. CASTILLO, age 32, 2250 Royal Oak Ave., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Strangulation, a Felony of the Fourth Degree, and One Count of Domestic Violence, a Felony of the Fifth Degree.

Authorities allege that on April 11, 2026, at a residence on Pontiac Dr., in Defiance, Castillo caused or created a substantial risk of physical harm to a family or household member by means of strangulation or suffocation and caused or attempted to cause physical harm to that same family member who was a pregnant at the time.

-KYLEE M. AGNESS, age 41, 6810 CR 62, Saint Joe, IN, was indicted for One Count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that on April 12, 2026, during a traffic stop on Harding St., in Defiance, Agness was found in possession of Methamphetamine, a Schedule II drug.

-ALESSANDRO X.C. GARZA, age 24, 209 ½ Main St., Defiance, and CHARLES FEDDERKE, age 22, 1488 Main St., Defiance, were both indicted for Six Counts of Vandalism, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree.

Authorities allege that on December 11, 2025, February 5, 2026, February 9, 2026, and March 22, 2026, Garza and Fedderke caused serious physical harm to property in various locations in Defiance County.

Authorities further allege that the property damaged was either owned by a governmental entity or the value of the property or the amount of physical harm involved was one thousand dollars or more.

-THOMAS R.G. DOCKERY, age 40, 20975 Buckskin Rd., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Strangulation, a Felony of the Third Degree.

Authorities allege that on April 14, 2026, at his residence on Buckskin Rd., in Defiance, Dockery created a substantial risk of serious physical harm to another by means of strangulation or suffocation.

-KRISTOFER K. HALL, age 43, 221 Chelsea Dr., Defiance, was indicted for One Count of Violating a Protection Order, a Felony of the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that on April 17, 2026, at a business on Hotel Dr., in Defiance, Hall violated the terms of an active protection order against him by consuming alcohol, and Hall also has a prior conviction of Violating a Protection Order, which elevates the level of this offense to a Felony.

-CHAD A. STATON, age 43, Last Known Address: 03151 Co Rd 24.25, Stryker, was indicted for One Count of Escape, a Felony of the Third Degree.

Authorities allege that on April 24, 2026, Staton was granted a medical furlough from CCNO, with the condition that he return to CCNO later that same day, however, Staton failed to return to CCNO as required and his current whereabouts are unknown. Staton is currently awaiting sentencing in three pending Felony matters in Defiance County.

-GREGORY J. GOLDSMITH, age 36, 840 W. Elm St., Apt. 202, Wauseon, was indicted for One Count of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, and One Count of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, each a Felony of the Fifth Degree.

Authorities allege that on March 25, 2026, during a traffic stop on E. Second St., in Defiance, Goldsmith was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine, a Schedule II drug, as well as a Fentanyl-Related Compound.

Arraignments are scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 9 a.m.
