WAUSEON, OHIO-Holding a slim 18-14 lead at halftime, the Indians poured it on by outscoring Wapakoneta 26-10 in the second half to get a 44-24 win. Connar Penrod led all scorers with 21 points and Jonas Tester added nine for Wauseon.
Next up for the Indians is a trip to Spencerville High School on Wednesday, March 3rd for the Division II District Semifinals.
Wauseon (18-4) will face St. Marys (15-6) at 7:30pm in the second semifinal while top seeded Lima Shawnee (21-1) will square off with Van Wert or Defiance in the opener at 5:30pm.
