December BD Spotlight Award Goes To Matt & Misty King

December 12, 2024No Comments2 Mins Read

PRESS RELEASE / THE VILLAGE REPORTER
DECEMBER WINNERS … Pictured receiving the award are Matt and Misty King (L) from Bryan Development member, Kris Lowe.

PRESS RELEASE – Have you spotted the large, cuddly, teddy bear riding a motorcycle with a penguin? How about the beautiful Yuletide ball gown made from a Christmas tree?

Or Mary and Joseph watching over Baby Jesus in the manger? If you have, then you’ve noticed this month’s Spotlight Award!

To recognize local investment in buildings, landscaping, events, and other improvements, Bryan Development has created a monthly “Spotlight Award.”

Matt and Misty King are the December recipients for their creative store window displays. Matt and Misty, owner’s of Faith & Grace Baby Boutique, EllieAnn’s Boutique, and Mad Ox Men’s Emporium on Main Street, take window dressing seriously, creating captivating displays throughout the year.

Whether it’s April Shower’s, Summer Blooms, Back to School, Autumn Harvest or Christmas, the King’s decorations are reminiscent of big city stores.

The Kings opened their family of stores in 2020, and offer a wide variety of men’s, women’s and baby clothing and shoes, plus gifts, home accessories and a gourmet selection of foods.

Bryan Development’s mission is to enrich the community by encouraging economic activity, preservation and community pride.

The BD presents the Spotlight Award to a resident, business, industry, or institution that has invested in new construction, preservation, restoration or beautification efforts, in Bryan. Spotlight Award recipients are recognized by Bryan Development with a plaque and through social media and local news outlets.

The community is encouraged to submit Spotlight Award Nominations at developbryan@gmail.com.
