Dennis “Denny” W. Lowe, age 65, of Lyons, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, following a 5 year courageous battle, Tuesday morning, June 05, 2018 in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, Ohio. Denny was born May 26, 1953 in Wauseon, Ohio to Vern W. and Esther E. (Stites) Lowe. He married Sue Clay on September 08, 1972 and she survives. He was a 33 year Process Operator employee of Silbond of Weston, Michigan. He was a Army veteran, lived for his family, loved raising horses, loved his dogs, enjoyed the outdoors and all animals.
Survivors include, his loving wife of 45 years, Sue, of Lyons, Ohio. Children, Sara (Shane) Tanner, of Wauseon, Ohio. Amy (Jason) Hancock, of West Unity, Ohio. Heather (Brad) Ruger, of Fayette, Ohio. Dennis (Holly) Lowe, II of Lyons, Ohio. Parents, Vern and Esther Lowe, of Wauseon, Ohio. Grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Cade, Connor, Demi Sue, Baiylee, Bradyn, Breah, Jaley, and Zander. Great-grandchild expected in August 2018. Step-grandchildren, Ashtyn, Ariel, Austin, Mia and Jackson. Brother and Sisters, Linda Lowe, Jackson, Michigan, Marty Lowe, Mexico, and Darlene Leveck, Spring Lake, Michigan.
He is preceded in death by a grandchild, Heaven Ruger on January 29, 2000.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 08, 2018 in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, 219 South Fulton Street, Wauseon, Ohio 43567. Pastor Don Krieger will officiate. Interment will follow in Ottokee Cemetery. Funeral luncheon will follow the interment services Friday in Zion United Methodist Church, County Road 11, Wauseon, Ohio. Friends may call for a time of visitation with the family 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of family preference.
