The Edgerton Village Planning Commission met on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 12:15. Village Administrator Dawn Fitzcharles started the meeting off with a Roll call in attendance were Mayor Bob Day, Camie Hicks, Lance Bowsher, Scott Blue, and Preston Knecht. Fiscal Officer Denise Knecht and Larry Welch were absent.

Lance Bowsher motioned to approve the minutes from the June 13th planning commission meeting, and Mayor Bob Day seconded.

The commission moved on to discussion for consideration to approve the Dedication Plat of Stadium Drive Extension. This is for constructing a roadway between Stadium Drive (by the New Dollar General Market) and connect to Dairy Drive.

Fitzcharles commented that this would be a good thing for traffic flow mainly during the time school lets out. All members of the commission approved.

Bowsher asked Fitzcharles when this project would start. Fitzcharles said it should tentatively start next spring. She also stated this portion is part of the Dollar General Project but comes from the Al-phine Development.

The Edgerton Village Planning Commission meeting adjourned at 12:23. The next meeting will be August 7th, 2024 at 5:15 pm before the village council meeting.
