The Edgerton Planning Commission held its meeting on Wednesday, April 22, in the village hall.
Commission members present were Larry Welch, Brian Bowsher, and Preston Knecht. Camie Hicks was absent. Mayor Robert Day and Administrative Assistant Amanda Knecht were also in attendance.
Minutes from the October 29, 2025, meeting were approved. Bob Knox of Trinity Bible Church is requesting a parcel lot split in which he was seeking approval of splitting the parking lot area on the north end of the church property located at 127 East Lynn Street, to be combined with the adjacent lot on which the church is located.
He also shared the intention to sell the parsonage, as the property has been surveyed and marked.
Commission member Preston Knecht inquired if the utilities are already separate and if there are any known easements to be concerned about. The utilities are separate, and Knox wasn’t aware of any easements.
A motion by Bowsher to approve the parcel lot split was seconded by Knecht. The motion was approved by a 4-0 vote, with Day, Welch, Bowsher, and Knecht voting yes.
The meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m.
