Edon Homecoming Flies Through The Decades

The Edon Homecoming flew through the decades. The hope was to bring a resounding victory to the students for the ever-special Homecoming night. The Homecoming Football game took place on Friday, September 24th.

The Homecoming Queen for 2021 was Carlie Kiess, daughter of Andrew and Carey Kiess. Natalie Spackman was the senior attendant and is the daughter of Jordan and Dannielle Spackman.

Emma Howard was the Junior attendant and is the daughter of Herbert and Christina Howard.


Aliha Peterson was the Sophomore attendant and is the daughter of Felicia Resendez and Tony Pawlowicz.

Leyla Avila-Garcia was the Freshman attendant and is the daughter of Maryah King and Dennis Housh. Sydney Bignell was the previous Homecoming Queen for 2020. She is the daughter of Patty Eicher.

The Homecoming Flower Girl was Catherine Oberline. She is the daughter of Corissa Oberlin and Corey Oberlin. The Crown Bearer was Wyatt Reitzel who is the son of Joseph and Taysha Reitzel.


Escorting the Homecoming Court were as follows.

Jayden Craven Senior football player, son of Tasha and Jaret Grove and Adam Craven. Gannon Ripke Senior football player, son of Matt and Jen Ripke.

Cassius Hulbert, Senior football player, son of Chip and Shannan Hulbert. Ethan Steinke Senior football player, son of Nick and Carly Steinke and Rachel and Matt Peconge.

Drew Gallehue Senior football player, son of Chad and Chandra Lyman and John Gallehue. Hayden Dye Senior football player, son of Wes and Staci Dye. Henley Dye Senior Football player, son of Wes and Staci Dye.


Before the game, members of the Homecoming court lined up for a parade. Class floats were decorated to represent a decade to go with this year’s theme.

Crowning ceremonies then took place at the field with Queen Carlie addressing fans at halftime.
