August 26th-EDON: Windwood Hollow played host to home team Edon and visitors North Central as the two Buckeye Border Conference members squared off on Tuesday. The match was a tight one, with the Bombers sneaking past the Eagles of North Central by a mere five strokes.
Edon scored a 196 in the team win, while North Central put up a combined score of 201.
Evan Fisk gave the Bombers a boost with his offering of 46. Jay Peckham and Alex Kirkingburg were not too far behind Fisk, firing a pair of 48s. Hayden Runyan turned in a 54 to add to the Edon total.
For the Eagles, Jordan Reeves matched Fisk’s 46, tying the two golfers for the best score on the day. Reeves’ partner, Brady Zuver, was a a single swing back, compiling a 47. Allyson Hutchinson shot a 53, and Dakota Pitts put up a 55 to round out the North Central effort.
