After qualifying at districts, Edon FFA member Paige Schaffter advanced to compete at the state public speaking contest held March 5, 2016 at Marysville High School. In the Advanced Prepared division, she delivered her six-to-eight minute speech titled, “What Does the Future Hold for Lake Erie?” to a room of judges and answered questions about her topic. Paige placed 10th in her preliminary room.
