Elizabeth V. “Betty” GalbraithElizabeth V. “Betty” Galbraith, age 82, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She had worked at the former Sheridan Manufacturing in Wauseon from 1947 until 1967 and then worked at Fulton Industries from 1967 until 1997.

She was born in Clinton Township, Fulton County, Ohio on June 16, 1933, the daughter of the late Fred and the late Ethel (Todd) Galbraith. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Wauseon. She enjoyed crafting, her flowers, ceramics, and needle work.

Surviving is her sister, Mildred Harmon Delta; her brother, Fred (Lynette) Galbraith of Seven Hills, Ohio; 13 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Martha Skinner and Arlene Galbraith.

Funeral services for Betty will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, with Pastor Mike Berne, officiating. Interment will follow in the Bayes Cemetery, near Wauseon. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
