The January 2023 financial statements were then approved along with a $100 donation to the Student Assistance Fund, fund to fund transfers, appropriation modifications and amended resources.

Several grants were also accepted before the board moved to approve an FMLA request and unpaid leave of absence request from staff members.

Lynne Chase was then added to the approved district substitute list pending completion of any/all requirements and background checks.

Personnel recommendations were then addressed by the board before moving on to approve the following agenda items.

This agreement will be modified to increase service expectations from 30-hours per week to 40-hours per week as a prorated revised rate of $20,000.00 for the 2022-2023 school year, $20,000.00 for the 2023-2024 school year, and $22,000.00 for the 2024-2025 school year.

The board then commended the Evergreen High School Quiz Bowl Team for qualifying for the national competition.

An overnight trip was also approved for six members to attend the National Academic Quiz Bowl Tournament held in Chicago, Illinois. Students will depart on April 22nd and will return on April 24th.

Members then agreed to move the June 19th board meeting to June 26th to avoid the Juneteenth holiday and provide the treasurer additional time for ending the fiscal year.

An update was then given regarding the potential 5th grade move to the middle school before administrative reports were heard.

With no executive session being needed the board moved to adjourn the meeting for the evening.
