The Fayette Library kicked off its Summer Reading Program “Every Hero Has a Story” June 16. Katie Johnson from Imagination Station presented a program on “the Science of Super Hero Powers”. 52 boys and girls and parents enjoyed the presentation followed by ice cream.
The library is decorated with super heroes which were created with the help of the Fayette High School art classes which included the artistic talents of Tristen Bates, Michaela Bates, Katelyn Bates, and Miranda Minzey. The first hero story was about Super Hero Fathers and the children made key ring holders to present to their fathers on Father’s Day.
