Four County BOE Approves School Calendar For 2023-2024

The December Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the board approved:

  • November Meeting Minutes.
  • Financial statements and investments for the month of November as presented.
  • Appropriation Modifications as presented.
  • Then and Now Certifications as presented.
  • Updates to the District’s OASBO 457 (b) Plan as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:

  • Resignation for purpose of retirement for Tony McCord, Career Tech Supervisor, effective June 30, 2023.
  • A one-year probationary contract to Ashley Christensen, English Instructor, effective November 22, 2022.
  • Certified Substitutes as presented.
  • FMLA for Carrie Nofziger as well as unpaid parental leave.
  • A one-year probationary contract to Jessica Meadows, Assistant Cook retroactive to November 28, 2022.
  • Brianna Doriot, Custodial Substitute.
  • Public Safety Instructors.
  • Paid/unpaid leave of absence for Wendy Waisner.
  • The 2023-24 School Calendar as presented.
  • Landscape and Greenhouse Technologies program name change to Environmental Horticulture beginning with the 2023-24 school year.
  • Donations from the following:
  • A monetary donation to assist students who need lunch money from Eric and Stacy Lichtenwald.
  • A skid of an assortment of electrical parts donated to the Electrical Program from Terry Hallett.

Brian Baker was designated at President Pro-Tem for the January 5, 2023 Organizational/Regular Board Meeting.

The next scheduled meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the organizational meeting, the budget hearing and regular January meeting.


These will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023, in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
