Four County Career Center Board Of Education Organizes For 2016

The January Organizational and Regular Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education were held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.

During the organizational meeting, Dennis Vetter was elected to serve as President, while Brian Baker was elected as Vice-President. Mr. Baker was also selected as the Legislative Liaison.

The Board also agreed to hold meetings of the Four County Career Center Board of Education on the third Thursday of each month, at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center for the 2016 calendar year.

As part of the Treasurers’s Report, the Board approved:
•December Meeting Minutes
•Financial statements and investments for the month of December as presented.
•The FY 17 Tax Budget for Four County Career Center as presented.
•Blanket PO’s for FY16 as presented.
•A two-year renewal agreement (Jan 1, 2016 to Jan 1, 2018) with School Insurance Consultants, LLC.
•A two-year extension with Wright Specialty/Catlin Insurance Company through Wells Fargo Insurance Services for property, casualty, and fleet insurance.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•To move Chris Zacharias to the Bachelor’s 150 column effective second semester per the negotiated agreement.
•Abbie Hill as a Substitute Custodian for the 2015-16 School Year.
•The 2016-17 School Calendar as presented.
•Renewal of the lease agreement with 1545 Holland LLC for space fot the Adult •Education Public Safety Program, located in Maumee, Ohio.
•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from: *Legislative Liaison

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the Finance Committee Meeting at 6:16 PM, followed by the regular February Board Meeting, both on February 18, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
