ARCHBOLD, OH — Four County Career Center has been awarded the Overall 5-Star Award on the 2024–2025 Career-Technical Planning District Report Card, as announced by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
The 5-star designation is the highest rating issued by the state and reflects the district’s strong performance in preparing students for success through high-quality career and technical education programs.
The recognition highlights the collective efforts of educators, staff, and administrators in creating learning environments that support both academic achievement and career readiness.
“This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication of our students and the commitment of our staff to providing meaningful, hands-on learning experiences,” said Superintendent Jeff Slattery. “We are proud of the work taking place across our programs and the opportunities being created for our students.”
The Career-Technical Planning District Report Card evaluates districts on a range of measures, including student achievement, post-program outcomes, and overall program quality. Earning an overall 5-star rating places Four County Career Center among the top-performing career and technical education districts in the state.
Four County Career Center serves students from multiple partner school districts across Northwest Ohio, offering a wide range of programs designed to equip students with the skills needed for both college and careers.
District leaders noted that the recognition reflects not only academic success, but also the real-world experiences and industry-aligned training that students receive each day.
“This honor belongs to our entire school community,” Slattery added. “We remain committed to continuing this level of excellence and supporting every student’s path to success.”
