
The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and an opening prayer, followed by roll call. Minutes from September 18, 2025, were approved, and the day’s agenda was adopted.
Under old business, the board approved payment of bills and reviewed Dog Warden reports for the periods ending August 16 and August 23, 2025.
New business actions included Resolution 2025-629 to establish, increase, and transfer appropriations.
The board established new lines for Supplies and a Sales Tax Administration fee line, increased appropriations for Capital Improvement Airport by $168,500, Sales Tax Administration by $45,000, Professional Services by $6,000, and Maintenance Equipment by $54,000.
Transfers included $500 from Sanitary Engineer Travel to Sanitary Engineer Other Expenses, and a fund transfer of $13,193.50 to cover drug testing supplies for adult probation and drug court.
Other items included, Payment Number Two to Contract 2025-46 with Gerken Paving for the two thousand twenty five asphalt resurfacing program, entry into Contract 2025-80 with Healthier 4U Vending for the Detwiler Building, a Transportation Improvement District project funding agreement 2025-81 for the State Route 109 and County Road H project, authorization to advertise a public meeting on a waterline petition along United States Highway 20 in Swanton, awarding a bid to install an Automated Weather Observing System at the Fulton County Airport, a personnel request for the Senior Center, and approval of purchase orders and travel requests.
