FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Approve Assistance Agreements With Maumee Valley Planning

The Fulton County Commissioners held their first meeting of the week on Tuesday, November 15th.

The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer before commissioners moved to approve the November 10th minutes and current agenda.

Next, approval was given to pay the bills as presented before moving to review the Apiary inspection report for October 2022 and Treasurer’s 2022 DTAC report.

The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2022-795 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2022-796 to designate the Fulton County JFS as a Workforce Development Agent.

– Resolution 2022-797 to approve Change Order #1-Final and Pay Request #2-Final to Contract 2022-64 with Gerken Paving for the CR22/23 Asphalt Resurfacing Project.

– Resolution 2022-798 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

– Resolution 2022-799 to a grant extension to file plans for Ditch 2146- Clinton Township.

Commissioners then moved to hold a public hearing to discuss amendments to subdivision regulations.

The items discussed were changes in wording, formatting updates, a minimum lot size increase, the introduction of standards and procedures for creating rear/flag lots, and the elimination of the minimum depth requirements for minor subdivisions.

Also discussed was an introduction of standards and procedures for approving lot line adjustments and the introduction of language to allow the appropriate Fulton County agency to approve a broader range of water supply options outside of the Urban Growth Area.

Commissioners then passed Resolution 2022-800 to approve amendments to Subdivision Regulations. The meeting was then adjourned at 10:14 a.m.

The commissioners next held their second meeting of the week on Thursday, November 17th.

The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer. Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the November 15th meeting as well as the current agenda.

A review then took place of the weekly dog warden reports for periods ending October 29th and November 5th.

The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2022-803 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2022-805 to award a bid for 2023 Contractual Services regarding Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Scrap Metal Recycling.

– Resolution 2022-806 to award a bid for 2023 Contractual Services – Solid Waste Disposal.

– Resolution 2022-807 to approve the Ohio Airport Improvement ODOT Matching Grant Application.

– Resolution 2022-808 to approve the CIP Update for Fiscal Years 2024-2033 for the Fulton County Airport.

– Resolution 2022-809 to approve Change Order #1 – Final and Pay Request #3 – Final to Contract 2022-49 with R.G. Zachrich for bridge D11.4 replacement.

– Resolution 2022-811 to enter into Contract 2022-106 with KC Demolition for Building Demo and Site Revitalization Program – 23363 US HWY 20A Archbold Ohio.

– Resolution 2022-813 to enter into Contract 2022-108 with Marksch Excavating and Demolition for Building Demo and Site Revitalization Program – Multiple Locations.

– Resolution 2022-814 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

– Resolution 2022-815 to enter into a technical assistance agreement with Maumee Valley Planning – Brownfield – Britsch Property.

– Resolution 2022-816 to enter into a technical assistance agreement with Maumee Valley Planning – Eagle Pitcher.

– Resolution 2022-817 to enter into a technical assistance agreement with Maumee Valley Planning – Site Revitalization.

– Resolution 2022-818 to set the date and time for the final ditch hearing – Ditch 2147 Amboy Township.

Following the agenda items, Commissioners moved to discuss the file plans for Ditch 2147 – Amboy Township.

With no further business to attend to the meeting was adjourned.
