FULTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: Commissioners Hold Short Sessions

The Fulton County Commissioners held their first meeting of the week on Tuesday, May 31st. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting that was held on May 26th. The current agenda was then approved as well as the list of bills for payment.

A review then took place for an affidavit of service notice for annexation 2022-002 for the Village of Delta. The following agenda items were then approved.


– Resolution 2022-380 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2022-381 to approve legal and authorize an ad for bids for the Fulton County Water Booster Station Pump Upgrade.

– Resolution 2022-382 to request the County Auditor to provide the requested tax levy Information – Health Department.


– Resolution 2022-383 to accept the recommendation of the Loss Control Coordinator for a workers compensation claim.

– Resolution 2022-384 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

With no further business to attend to, Commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:09 a.m.


The second meeting of the week was held on Thursday, June 2nd. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Commissioners first moved to approve the minutes from the previous meeting held on May 31st followed by the current agenda.

A review then took place for the month end financial reports and sales tax report for the month of May 2022. The following agenda items were then approved.

– Resolution 2022-387 for the increase and transfer of appropriations for various departments.

– Resolution 2022-388 to approve Contract 2022-64 with Gerken Paving for CR 22/23 Resurfacing on behalf of the engineer.

– Resolution 2022-389 to approve oversight of Contract 2022-65 with Rengill HR on Demand for CCMEP Work Experience Serviced on Behalf of JFS.


– Resolution 2022-390 to approve purchase orders and travel requests.

With no further business listed on the agenda, Commissioners moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:04 a.m.
