The Fulton County Commissioners held their meeting on Tuesday, May 10th. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.
Commissioners first heard bids from companies regarding the fairgrounds hog barn. The bids were received and sent turned over to the County Engineer for review.
Following the bids, Commissioners moved to approve the minutes from the May 5th meeting, as well as the agenda as amended. Approval was also given for the payment of the bills before then discussing a heavy loads permit. The following agenda items were then approved.
-Resolution 2022-324 for the increase & transfer of appropriations for various departments.
-Resolution 2022-325 To enter into contract 2022-53 with the Ohio Department of Development Brownfield Remediation Program grant agreement – Britsch.
-Resolution 2022-326 to enter into contract 2022-54 with the Ohio Department ofDevelopment Brownfield Remediation Program grant agreement – Eagle Picher Ind. (Bunting Bearing – Van Buren St, Delta, Ohio).
-Resolution 2022-327 To approve the Fulton County Electric Power Aggregation Plan of Operation and Governance.
-Resolution 2022-328 To approve re-plat located in the Wood Lane subdivision in German Township, Fulton County.
-Resolution 2022-329 To cancel the Fulton County Board of Commissioners regular session on Thursday, May 12, 2022.
-Resolution 2022-330 To approve contract 2022-55 with Tetra Tech to complete services at Britsch on West Chestnut Street, Wauseon, Ohio.
-Resolution 2022-331 To approve contract 2022-56 with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc (CEC) to perform various tests at Bunting Bearing in Delta, Ohio.
-Resolution 2022-332 To award the bid for the 2022 Seal Coat Project.
-Resolution 2022-333 To approve purchase orders and travel requests.
-Resolution 2022-334 To approve permit number two for a heavy load permit.
-Resolution 2022-335 To authorize a bond to approve permit number 3 for a heavy load permit.
Following the agenda items, Commissioners met with representatives from Stapleton Insurance regarding the CORSA insurance renewal.
During the discussions, the current insurance information was described as well as upcoming rates.
Following the discussion, the meeting was adjourned for the morning. No session was held on Thursday, May 12th. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 17th.
