The Fulton County Commissioners met for their regular session on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. The meeting began at 9:00 a.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance, an opening prayer, and a roll call.

Commissioners approved the minutes from their October 16 session and moved through the day’s agenda. Regular bill payments were approved, followed by action on several new items.

The board approved the creation of a new Community Outreach expense line under Soldiers Relief after receiving a request from the Veterans Service Office. Commissioners also approved a $1,200 increase to the Common Pleas Court travel budget.

In other action, the board approved a satisfaction of mortgage for the county’s housing program and payment request number two to RG Zachrich for work on the Bridge TSR 108.5 replacement project.

A letter of support for Triangular Processing’s ODOT transportation grant application was also approved, along with the week’s purchase orders and travel requests.

Two budget hearings took place during the session. The prosecutor’s office explained that their operations are running within budget and no major financial issues are anticipated.

The only significant change involves the computer software line that pays for the Matrix program, which has remained steady since its implementation.

Minimal spending has occurred this year, and planned improvements include replacing outdated chairs and converting the old file room into a new office space. Upcoming personnel changes are not expected to affect the budget.

The Soil and Water Conservation District reported only a few changes to its budget. The salary line increased after the state eliminated the SWAT position, and the board opted to bring that employee on full-time.

Meanwhile, the equipment line decreased substantially due to the purchase of a tractor this year, with no major equipment purchases planned for the upcoming year. The meeting adjourned at 9:37 a.m.
