(WAUSEON, OH) Painting has begun on the exterior of one of Fulton County’s most historical landmarks this past week. Crews from Brian Brothers Painting of Piqua, OH have begun re-painting the vents and tower of the courthouse. “It has been approximately 20 years since this type of exterior work has been completed” states Vond Hall, County Administrator. “It is our intention to continue to provide the necessary maintenance to keep the courthouse in-tact.” The project is expected to be completed within 60 days and carries a price tag of $58,700. Earlier in May of 2014, crews cleaned, tuck pointed and sealed the clock tower. Up next is replacing the clock faces on the tower by the Tower Clock Company of South Charleston, Ohio. The Fulton County Courthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
