Good Friday Breakfast April 14th at 8:30am
Fulton County Seniors are invited to the Fulton County Senior Center, Wauseon, on Friday, April 14 at 8:30 am for Good Friday Breakfast. Enjoy a menu of egg, bacon, and cheese casserole, sausage links, fruit, doughnuts and beverages. Suggested donation is $2.00 for Fulton County Seniors age 60 and over. Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) July 18-August 22, 10:00am-12:00pm
The Delta Senior Center in association with the Area Office on Aging will host six free, interactive sessions of Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP). Led by a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, DEEP will teach you how to manage diabetes through healthy eating, understand risk factors for diabetes, how to monitor your body and gain healthy living tips useful for anyone age 60 and over. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from July 18 to August 22, from 10:00 am to noon, at the Delta Senior Center, located at 101 Northwood Drive inside Delta United Methodist Church. A Matter of Balance June 5th through June 28th, every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am-11:30am
Seniors age 60 years and older who are interested in improving balance, flexibility and strength or who are concerned about falling are invited to engage with an instructor from Area Office on Aging. This class offers learning simple ways to increase strength and balance among other healthy living tips. The class is a free program to be offered at the Fulton County Senior Center, 240 Clinton Street, Wauseon, beginning Monday, June 5 and concluding June 28; every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
