    So no community spread put on this year? (rimshot) Seriously, that’s too bad. Hopefully next year.

      Yes, Big Bob,
      in one year hence, after the “three wise men” have built another yet airport fence;
      the Silver Belles, arm-in-arm with their Golden Swells,
      shall congregate to sup and fete
      the Manger Boy whom Mary did begat,
      They’ll all be singing carols,
      and rolling out barrels,
      while the town’s quality
      will bask in all that jollity

        No crimes in your rhymes (wink), Master OC, or the Notorious OCMD, or whatever your free styling handle is. An airport reference? Grrr. Only thing flying out of there is RINO Air. A publicly subsidized private flying club is what it is. By the logic the county operates it under, it might as well purchase Oakshade Raceway, so all racing enthusiasts have a guaranteed place to race. Bah humbug as to that airport! Or should I say…poor X Kuse for an airport? LOL

          So the airport as a prime example of local governmental waste? J’Kuse!

            “J’ Kuse…!” EZ, BB. This is Fulton County, Ohio. No amount of ah-Kuse-ations concerning that airport is going to lead to an In-Kuse-ition. No one cares. The airport authority, it’s supposed governing body, can be stocked with cronies who all own planes they store and fly out of there and nobody is going to object to it. Those guys set the very lease rates and fuel costs they each pay. No conflict of interest there, no sirree, Me! No, Fulton County’s plantation politics will go on and on forever.

            Still, I could see the FC Bd of Commissioners being interested in buying the Oakshade racetrack. It makes sense in an ODD sort of way. If the public were allowed to speak at the board meetings, maybe someone could ask them.
