(WAUSEON, OH) — During the Ohio Federation of Soil and Water Conservation Districts’ (OFSWCD) 73nd Annual Conservation Partnership Conference, “Champions of Conservation” sponsored by Farm Credit Mid-America, Fulton SWCD was recognized as the “Conservation Education District of the Year” as voted by the district’s peers.
Fulton County held a Breakfast on the Farm allowing the community to visit local farming operations with hands-on educational experience for the public. Over 3000 guests enjoyed a free Ohio-grown breakfast. Breakfast on the Farm provided a better understanding and confidence in farming operations.
