The Gospel Echoes Team held their annual prison ministry banquet on Friday, April 26, 2024. Doors opened at 6:00 p.m. with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. The event was held at the Pettisville Missionary Church which was beautifully decorated with round tables.
The church has been the host of this banquet for well over 10 years, but the event was around long before that. The evening included a Home-style dinner, music from Gospel Echoes Harvest Team, Mercy Road Team, and the Gingerich Family, and a Prison Ministry presentation.
For anyone who does not know who The Gospel Echoes are, they are a full-time prison ministry, traveling to churches and prisons throughout the U.S. & Canada.
Their mission is to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with prison inmates. Gospel Echoes Teams have ministered in over 500 prisons and provide a Bible Study Correspondence Course and other literature free to prisoners. A network of over 700 volunteer graders mark the Bible Courses and give encouragement to prison.
The purpose of the banquet is to give an update or Praise Report to the supporters of this ministry and to give everyone an opportunity to sign up to support again or start as a new supporter.
In the Praise Report were highlights from the past year including 89,320 Bible Study Courses were done, 455,259 Scripture address booklets were distributed, 3,129 New Life Study Testaments, 3,876 Bible Course Graduates, 600 Bible Study Graders, and thousands of volunteer hours.
There are many ways the community can support the mission of The Gospel Echoes Teams so that they can continue spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ with prison inmates.
