Wauseon 56 Delta 53 (OT)

DELTA – Aizlynn Coronado hit a triple in overtime to help Wauseon (4-2) pullout a 56-53 non-league win at Delta.

Hayley Meyer led the Wauseon scoring with a game-high 25 points while Coronado and Mackenzie Stasa had 14.

Grace Munger hit three shots from deep and totaled 20 to pace Delta (4-2) and Sophia Burres added 11.

LIBERTY CENTER – The Tigers had ten players score as they improved to 5-0 with a 49-30 win over Edgerton (0-7).

Emerson Gray and Emersyn Gerken paced a balanced attack with nine points each for Liberty Center.

Taylor Smith and Alivia Farnham netted 11 points apiece to lead the Bulldogs.

KALIDA – Kalida jumped out to a 20-10 lead after one quarter and was able to turn away an Archbold (5-3) rally that saw the Bluestreaks close to within 36-31 after three quarters.

EDON – Edon dominated from the start and led 41-7 at halftime in grabbing their first win of the season.

Cohen Hulbert dropped 21 points for the Bombers and Carter Kiess notched 17.

MONTPELIER – Fayette relied on the longball as they hit six from beyond the arc to offset a 13/26 night at the foul line to get their first win of the season.

Fayette’s Wyatt Mitchell had seven buckets and four free throws for a game-high 21 points and Xander Dunnett knocked down four triples and finished with 15.

Garrett Walz was high scorer for the Locos with 20 and Grant Girrell added 10.

STRYKER – Maddox Langenderfer capped off the Bryan comeback with a layup in the waning seconds to give Bryan a 37-35 win after trailing 14-2 after the first quarter.

Sam Herold topped Bryan, who used an 18-8 second quarter to get back in the game, with 12 points on the night.

Elijah Juillard and Levi Barnum each had eight for Stryker.

PETTISVILLE – Behind a 23-9 first quarter and a defense that harassed Pettisville into 16 turnovers, Emmanuel Christian earned a 65-50 road win.

The Blackbirds were fronted by double-doubles from Cayden Jacoby (24 points, 11 rebounds) and Joey Ripke (17 points, 10 rebounds).
