BOYS BASKETBALL

Toledo Christian 69 Fayette 50

FAYETTE – Xandyr Hesson and Conye Gaston each had 20 points as Toledo Christian (12-9) clinched a 19th straight winning season with a 69-50 win at Fayette.

Elijah Lerma led the way for Fayette (10-11) with a game-high 23 points while Quinn Mitchell registered 10.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Toledo Christian, 56-24

Liberty Center 55 Bryan 30

BRYAN – The Tigers led 17-2 after one quarter and never looked back as they cruised to a 55-30 NWOAL win.

Aiden Hammontree topped three Tigers (9-11, 2-4 NWOAL) in double figures with 16 points while Jake Spieth and Wyatt Leatherman each had 10.

Bryan’s (1-18, 0-6) Sam Herold had three field goals and added three makes at the foul line for 10 points.

METAMORA – Despite Lake (7-14) hitting nine 3-pointers in the game, Evergreen led 35-21 at halftime and put the game away with a 22-10 third quarter to defeat the Flyers 67-42.

Evan Lumbrezer spearheaded the Evergreen (11-9) offense with 21 points, RJ Shunck had 12 and Ethan Loeffler netted 11

HOLGATE – Archbold (14-7) blasted Holgate (7-13) with a 35-7 scoring binge in the middle two quarters combined to get the 57-32 road win.

Cade Brenner’s 15 points fronted the Bluestreaks followed by Alex Roth with a dozen and Ashton Kammeyer added 10.

OREGON – The state-ranked Bulldogs (18-2) survived a scare on the road as they rallied with a 21-13 final frame to pullout a 53-51 win.

Nic Borojevich connected on nine free throws and finished with 22 points while Cole Mitchey and Sam Betz each totaled 11.

Ottawa Hills 69 North Central 50

OTTAWA HILLS – The Green Bears closed the game with a 28-18 second half to pull away for a 69-50 win over the visiting Eagles.

Zach Hayes and Ben Pettit each tallied 12 points for North Central, who ends the regular season with a record of 12-9.

Antwerp 74 Hilltop 31

ANTWERP – No.1 ranked Antwerp (19-1) dominated the glass 27-9 on their way to a convincing 74-31 win.

Landon Brewer netted a game-high 21 points to lead the Archers and Jagger Landers added 21.

Raace Haynes and Ian Hoffman notched nine points each for Hilltop (3-17).
