WEST UNITY – The Eagles took sole possession of first place in the BBC by scoring six runs in the seventh to secure a 13-1 victory.

Zach Hayes tossed a complete game one-hitter to get the win for North Central and Connor Gendron had three hits and two RBIs

MONTPELIER – Garrett Girrell lifted a solo blast in sixth and Jaxon Richmond locked down the Tigers bats as the Locos handed Holgate their first loss in the BBC 2-1.

Richmond allowed just two hits in seven innings of work while chalking up nine strikeouts.

LIBERTY CENTER –Swanton tied the game 7-7 in the fifth, but the Tigers tallied the game winning run in the sixth as they pulled out an 8-7 win.

Emma St. Clair topped Liberty Center with a 3-4 game at the plate and two RBIs. Rheannah Kesler went 2-3 for the Bulldogs with a triple, home run, and drove in two runs.

Elisabeth Rochefort had two home runs and a triple as part of a 3-3 day at the plate with three RBIs. Emma Leininger had three hits and knocked in a pair of runs for the Eagles.

Alyssa Custer had a five-hit game for Montpelier while Kaycee Humbarger, Bianca Phongphiou, Custer, and Madelyn Hopper each drove in three runs.
