NWOAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
SWANTON – Bryan freshman Dakota Brandeberry put together a 714 series (268, 187, 259) to place second overall just behind Tyler Piercefield of Patrick Henry who rolled a 718 series.
Wauseon came in fourth topped by Riley Morr with a 558 (191, 235, 132) and Ryan Marks scored a 553 (208, 167, 178).
Swanton earned the fifth spot led by a 535 (172, 183, 180) from Conner Williams and Evergreen was sixth as Derek Cobb posted a 580 (194, 187, 199).
Delta rounded out the team standings with 3,256 pins topped by Gabe Syverson’s 570 (213, 159, 198).

NWOAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
SWANTON – Riley Garretson led regular season champion Liberty Center with a 563 (183, 185, 195) as she tied for first overall with Wauseon’s Jayde Ramos as the Tigers took first to secure the overall season title.
Defending champion Bryan took third with Faith Harding, who had the top per game average during the season, rolling a 558 (211, 168, 179) to place third individually.
Bryan was followed by Wauseon who claimed fourth paced by Co-Series Champion Ramos who had games of 202, 183, and 178 for a 563.
Delta took fifth with a pin total of 2,846 fronted by a 492 (165, 165, 162) from Ciarra Flickinger and Evergreen was sixth as Keigan Schusted led the Vikings with a 485 (134, 175, 176).

FAYETTE – Fayette (10-10) hit seven of their nine 3-pointers in the first half to grab a 31-27 halftime lead before the Vikings (10-8) battled back to get a 53-51 win.
Evan Lumbrezer knocked down nine field goals and added three from the charity striped for 21 points, RJ Shunck had 16, and Eli Keifer tallied 11 for the Vikings.
Fayette, who has now dropped eight games in a row, were fronted by Elijah Lerma with 18, Xander Dunnett had five makes from deep for 15, and Quinn Mitchell had 10.

PETTISVILLE – Wauseon (13-8) held a 19-12 at halftime and then outscored the Blackbirds 15-9 in the third quarter to pickup a 46-34 non-league win.
Jonas Tester fronted the Indians with seven buckets and four free throws for 18 points and Tyson Rodriguez had 10.
Cayden Jacoby turned in 11 points, 11 blocks and seven rebounds for Pettisville (11-10) and Jaret Beck dropped 10.

WEST UNITY – Aaron Kilima scored 23 points and Jackson Berman registered 18 in the Aces (14-7) 66-36 victory at Hilltop (2-16).
The Cadets, who trailed by just two points (17-15) after the opening quarter, were topped on offense by eight points from Ian Hoffman.

Archbold 60 Napoleon 55 (OT)
NAPOLEON – Napoleon (11-8) used a 12-5 fourth quarter to force overtime but Archbold got a triple late in overtime by Cade Brenner to escape with a 60-55 win.
Ashton Kammeyer led a balanced Archbold (13-7) attack with 13 points each with Jayden Seiler and Tyler Hurst each had 12.

EDON – The Archers improved to 18-1 on the season after trouncing Edon 55-18. Landon Brewer was the catalyst for Antwerp with 19 points and Jagger Landers had a dozen. Jack Berry had seven for the Bombers (11-8), who were just 1/17 from long range on the night.

PAULDING – Bryan committed 25 turnovers on the day as they were outscored 28-19 in the second half of Paulding’s 53-40 win.
Craig Jackson toted the load on offense for the Golden Bears (1-17) with 18.

PIONEER – The Eagles outscored Edgerton 25-7 at the free throw line to help offset Edgerton’s 14 3-pointers to pull out a 77-71 win. North Central (12-8), who had their largest point output of the season for the second time in the week, were paced by Zach Hayes with 28, Joey Burt had 24, and Ben Pettit added 14. Edgerton (5-16) had four players in double figures led by Cole Meyer’s 22, Cory Herman connected on six triples and netted 20 points while Corey Everetts and Nathan Swank had 11 apiece.

AYERSVILLE – The Pilots (16-4) held off a scrappy effort from Montpelier by closing out the game with a 14-9 final frame for the 48-40 win.
The Locos (2-18) were led offensively by Grant Girrell with 10.

NORTHWOOD – A trio of Panthers in double figures to help Delta (9-11) to a 70-43 win at Northwood.
Nolan Risner was high scorer for Delta with 18, Bryce Gillen had 17, and Josh Tresnan-Reghard tallied 15.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Bryan 47 Liberty Center 18
LIBERTY CENTER – Bryan (17-4, 7-0 NWOAL) put the wraps on a perfect NWOAL season and a third straight NWOAL title by dispensing of Liberty Center 47-18.
Reese Grothaus drained three shots from long range and added three two-point field goals for 15 points and Delilah Taylor had 12.

ARCHBOLD – The Bluestreaks blew open a close game with a 30-13 second half to defeat the Vikings 57-35.
Leah McQuade had a game-high 19 points for Archbold (14-8, 5-2 NWOAL), Harley Phillips netted 12, and Addi Ziegler 11.
Bekah Bowser topped Evergreen (12-9, 3-4) with two treys and six free throws for 12.

FAYETTE – Holgate (9-13, 4-3 BBC) took an 11-2 after one quarter and put the Eagles away with a 13-1 third quarter en route to the 40-19 victory.
Justine Eis made seven buckets to lead Holgate with 14 points. Nevaeh Powers led the charge for the Eagles (1-20, 0-7) with 13.

PIONEER – North Central (11-9, 5-2 BBC) jumped to a 21-10 lead at the break and then held off the Bombers rally in the second half to get a 36-34 win on Senior Night.
Madison Brown spearheaded the Eagles with 13 points and Olivia Mitchell had 14 to pace Edon (6-16, 2-5).

Sage Woolace had 15 to lead the Panthers (10-12, 3-4) scoring.
