BOYS SOCCER

Bryan 11 Swanton 3

Bryan raced to a 6-0 lead at halftime led by three goals from Anthony Tomaszewski on their way to an 11-3 victory. Tomaszewski found the net two more times the second half to finish with five goals on the night while Quinn Brown had four assists and one goal.

Toledo St. John’s 3 Pettisville 0

The Titans scored their first goal at the 20:00 of the first half and added two more goals in the second half to knock off Pettisville 3-0.

Wauseon 3 Delta 3

A battle for the top spot in the NWOAL ended in a tie as Wauseon and Delta played to a 3-3 draw to remain deadlocked for first place in the league. The Indians (8-3-2, 3-0-1 in NWOAL) scores came from Gavin Gerig, Eli Delgado, and Braden Vajen with Cooper Tenney, AJ Matthews, and Max York accounting for the Delta (12-0-1, 4-0-1 in NWOAL) scores.

Evergreen 3 Archbold 0

Tyson Woodring scored with 4:15 left in the first half to get Evergreen (10-3, 3-2 in NWOAL) on the board first as they pulled away for a 3-0 win over the Bluestreaks (3-7-2, 2-3 in NWOAL).

Riley Dunbar tallied a goal with 32:00 to go in the match and then another with 17:47 to go to complete the scoring for Evergreen.

GIRLS SOCCER

Delta 1 Miller City 0

Goalkeeper Teagan Postlewait recorded 15 saves to lead the Panthers past Miller City 1-0. Grace Munger scored the Panthers, who are now 6-7-1 on the year, lone goal in the match.

Bryan 8 Maumee 0

Amerimade – Misty King

Delilah Taylor, Tabithah Taylor, and Macy Burton had two goals each in Bryan’s (14-0-1) 8-0 win at Maumee. Delilah Taylor added two assists and Allie Zimmerman also contributed two assists in the win.

VOLLEYBALL

Varsity

North Central 3 Fayette 0

North Central was in control throughout as they dominated Fayette (0-17, 0-5 in BBC) in straight sets 25-8, 25-7, 25-7. Kendal Bonney spearheaded the Eagles attack with 11 kills, 14 assists and Madison Brown added seven kills and 11 assists.

Stryker 3 Holgate 2

Wauseon Schools

Stryker fought back from a 2-0 deficit to win the last three sets to earn a five-set win over Holgate 20-25, 18-25, 25-15, 25-14, 15-11. Brianna Breier went 45/49 hitting with 22 kills, Haylee Fulk was 18/19 serving, with 30 assists and Sage Woolace tallied 32 digs.

Edon 3 Pettisville 2

Carlie Kiess had 10 kills, 16 digs, five aces to lead Edon (10-7, 4-1 in BBC) to a five-set win over Pettisville 11-25, 25-21, 25-19, 24-26, 17-15. Liz Rochefort and Karen Pursel had 14 kills apiece for Pettisville (5-14, 2-3 in BBC) and Paris Coopshaw led the Blackbirds in digs with 35.

Hilltop 3 Montpelier 1

Gabby Rodriguez led the Hilltop effort by going 19/23 serving (16 points) and was 53/60 hitting with 22 kills in a 21-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-18 win. Jayma Bailey added 12 digs for the Cadets (15-4, 5-0 in BBC) and Kacy Connolly recorded 36 assists. Leading the Lady Locos (9-10, 3-2 in BBC) was Cady Hillard with 28 digs, Chelsea McCord added 26 digs, and Kelsie Bumb had 26 assists.

Never Let Go

Tinora 3 Wauseon 0

The Indians (13-6) dropped their second straight match as they fell to Tinora (15-4) 25-9, 25-21, 25-15. No stats have been reported.

Evergreen 3 Ottawa Hills 1

The Lady Vikings upped their record to 6-12 on the season after their 25-21, 25-14, 13-25, 25-16 non-league win over Ottawa Hills. No stats have been reported.

Swanton 3 Edgerton 0

Auglaize Village – Sounds of War Dance

Trista Eitniear recorded 12 kills on 25/31 hitting for the Bulldogs in a 25-21, 25-15, 25-118 win. Brooke Dockery added 11 digs for Swanton (16-3) and Sofie Taylor had 32 assists. Edgerton (5-13) was paced by Sadie Walther with eight kills on 27/30 hitting and Taylor Smith was 53/53 setting and posted 12 assists.

Fairview 3 Archbold 2

Paige Riccia racked up 22 kills, Haley Hammer had 48 assists, and Emma Wynne registered 28 digs as the Apaches (15-4) defeated Archbold 25-18, 19-25, 25-27, 25-15, 15-12. Keely Culler and Chaney Brodbeck topped the Lady Streaks (16-3) with 22 and 19 kills respectively while Addie Ziegler dished out 54 assists.
