(September 18th, 2014)-WEST UNITY: Spreading their wings in West Unity, the Junior High Lady Eagles of North Central set off to face Buckeye Border Conference foe Hilltop on the Cadets own court.
It was with relative ease that the Seventh Grade Hilltop girls defended their home court. The difficulties of playing on the road were a bit much for the younger incarnation of Eagles, as they dropped game 1 9-25 and game 2 10-25, allowing the hometown Cadets to achieve victory for the match.
Such success was not replicated by the Eighth Grade Cadets, however. Engaging in an epic struggle to claim the first set, Hilltop fell to the Lady Eagles 20-25. The visiting girls of North Central pulled away from their hosts in game 2, earning a 25-14 victory to take the match.
