The Hilltop Drama Club presented “The Clock Struck One” this past weekend. The play took place on Friday, November 17th and Saturday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m., with a Sunday, November 19th showing taking place at 3:00 p.m.
The play narrates the story of two estranged sisters who reunite at Hickory Dickory Inn, only to discover their host murdered. The situation takes a turn for the worse when a snowstorm cuts off all access to the outside world, and phone lines are deliberately severed.
It is suspected that one of the guests is responsible for the murder, and each character has something to hide, making it impossible for the sisters to trust anyone.
In an attempt to solve the mystery, a séance is suggested as it is believed the victim himself may be able to identify the killer.
The student actors delivered a captivating performance that left a lasting impression on the audience. Their dedication and professionalism were evident in their authentic portrayal of the story, which kept the audience engaged and curious throughout.
Overall, it was a remarkable experience that showcased the talent and hard work of the student actors.
