WEST UNITY: MAY  1, 2014– The Hilltop Lady Cadets entered the day undefeated in BBC play at 7-0 at home against a dangerous Pettisville Lady Blackbird squad, but the Cadets showed they are no doubt the best in the conference at this point in the season.  Hilltop turned back Pettisville 12-2 to move to 8-0 and stretch out a 2 1/2 game lead in the BBC.

Jessica Suboski earned the victory on the mound, allowing just 5 hits and 2 runs on a cold and windy afternoon.  Suboski also recorded 2 K’s in the 6 inning win.

Offensively for the Lady Cadets, Hannah Bleikamp continued her hot streak at the plate for the Lady Cadets, connecting for 2 doubles in the game while teammates LeAnn Joost and Brittany Mocherman each had 2 singles in the win.  Allie Schmitt also drove a double into left cetner, driving in an RBI on the day.

Hilltop stands atop the BBC at 8-0 and 12-5 on the season while Pettisville follows up in the BBC at 5-2.
